Words and actions are powerful. We live in a world of what can you do for me first. A salesman will try to make the sale in the first conversation. People often make the mistake of trying this strategy with relationships and friendships and then think, what’s in it for them? Where’s the romance? Instead of sell, sell sell, it should be give, give, give and then ask if that is what is needed or wanted. The “what’s in it for you” reward may come from someone else, or someone up High. May this year be the year you identify where your gifts and talents should be given. God Bless – off my soapbox.
