Leave a Legacy Business Succession Program

The Leave a legacy Business Succession Program provides exit planning support and assistance in selling your business to your employees.

We understand that small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy. Small businesses provide most jobs in Ingham County, but when owners get ready to retire, they seldom have a succession plan, and the ones that do are rarely successfully selling their business on their own.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Whether you have a succession plan, we invite you to participate in the Leave a Legacy program. You could receive education on selling your business to your employees, one-on-one consultations with experts, an assessment of the feasibility of transitioning to a worker-owned business, and detailed transition planning.

The Leave a Legacy program is offered through the Ingham County Sunrise Small Business Relief Program in partnership with LEAP and the Center for Community-Based Enterprise (C2BE). WEBSITE: Leave A Legacy Program – Lansing Economic Area Partnership (purelansing.com)
