LxFF is celebrating its 4th edition in 2026 from February 19th-22nd in venues across the campus of Michigan State University and the City of Lansing. LxFF 2026 promises a return of great films, live music and dance, as well as opportunities to engage with invited filmmakers after film screenings and during our daily receptions.
This year we’re proud to host Mariana Rondón, the Venezuelan director best known for her celebrated film Bad Hair, which we screened in 2018. This year she will present Boca Chica, for which she co-wrote the screenplay, and Zafari, which she directed. Mark your calendar to see these films and to meet Mariana after the screenings!
Other invited filmmakers include Juan Carlos Rodríguez (Vieques), Charles Abelmann (Call Me Waya), Pedro Ivan Bonilla and Rhett Garcia (RIto de Paso) and Stephanie Boyd (Karuara).
