Biography
Heather A. Hathaway Miranda, M.A. is a highly articulate servant leader and consultant with a passion to empower underserved communities through education rooted in advocacy efforts to raise consciousness about multi-layered issues locally, nationally, and internationally. She is an award-winning, international speaker with over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience as a researcher and educator specializing in a range of academic subjects intersecting race, ethnicity, class, gender, and disparity. She is a first-generation college graduate, a survivor of domestic violence, bilingual/bicultural Chicana/Latina, and a professor of Latino Studies.
