Biography
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I haven’t looked back since.
My counseling philosophy is a strengths-based and holistic approach that is based in the ecological systems theory, which provides a framework for understanding how an individual is impacted by: people in their life, institutions and communities they are a part of, and culture overall. In this way, I am able to provide you with individualized care to meet your unique needs while recognizing that you function as part of a larger system.
Some therapeutic techniques that may be implemented include: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Talk Therapy.
I am an approachable, kind-hearted, and relatable person passionate about people’s mission to thrive. I have experience working with adults and youth as young as 11. I want nothing more than for you to live your best life. You can thrive by working with me toward your goals.
