The Latino Advisory Committee (LAC) recently awarded three Lansing School District (LSD) students $1,000 Scholarships. Due to the pandemic, the Latino Advisory Committee was unable to hold their Annual Latino Achievement Night which has been held every year since 1977. The Latino Advisory Committee was created in April of 1972 to recognize, educate and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children. We work in partnership with the Lansing School District to advocate for Latino families and their students throughout the calendar year.
