When Ourspace 517 cofounders Mikey Austin and Martin Hernandez visualized Hispanic Heritage Weekend, they envisioned more than just one genre of music and food. Together with Hezekiah Trevino and a committee of people have put together a day filled with cultural diversity, great foods, and plenty of fun.
Beginning at 3:30pm until 10:00pm in front of the State Capitol, 50plus vendors, food trucks, live bands, popular Dj’s and a community that comes out in droves, the festival is destined to become the 2nd largest Hispanic Festival this side of Grand Rapids and east of Detroit.
