Lansing for César E. Chávez (LCEC) will kick off its 1st Annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 27, 2019 on Lansing’s beautiful scenic river trail, near César E. Chávez Plaza, located in Old Town, Lansing, Michigan 48933
Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a celebration of life and death of all ages. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America and the US. Come dressed up and ready to celebrate tradition, community, and diversity!
Participants are encouraged to wear traditional Dia de los Muertos face paint, flowers and other attire. FAMILY FUN EVENT!
