If you have never experienced the Cristo Rey Church Fiesta, your chance is coming. Beginning Friday, May 24, 2019 at 5pm, the 41st Annual Fiesta comes starts what is the widely known for its food, entertainment and meeting old friends. The weekend serves as the Church’s biggest fundraiser of the year and for the members of the Church preparations have already begun.
Tejano music, the gorditas (number one food item), seeing old friends rank high on Fiesta veterans. For newcomers, the beautiful colors of the folkloric dancers, the music, all the food along would be enough. But there is also a market in which many items like dresses, jewelry, apparel, purses to name a few.
More details will be released as each year a schedule is released for the entire three days. Cristo Rey Church is still looking for sponsors, vendors and volunteers. Please contact the Church office at 517-394-4639.
