The City of Lansing will recognize Cesar E. Chavez with the 17th Annual Memorial Celebration. March 31st, which would have been his 99th birthday, a brief ceremony from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a reception to follow. The Tony Benavides City Council Chambers which is located on the 10th Floor of City Hall at 124 W. Michigan Ave. Sponsored by the Lansing City Council and LLEAD of Greater Lansing. A reception will follow. The celebration is open to the public.
