Join us in welcoming Ballet Folklórico de Detroit on July 31 at 3:00pm. Sponsored by the Hispanic/Latino Commission of Michigan, national award winning Ballet Folklórico de Detroit is led by Lance Rodriguez and preserves Mexican heritage by offering dance instruction in Folklórico Arts, providing youth with positive experiences. Bring a lawn chair for the best seating in our courtyard!
Our Sunday Mercado on July 31 runs from 1pm to 5pm. Our vendors are Latinx, Chicanx and Afro Caribbean artists celebrating our heritage with handmade arts and crafts. At 2pm we host a bilingual childrens story hour followed by a story time.
Taco dinners are vendored by Corina Salinaz. Corina is known for her fluffy flavorful arroz, well seasoned beans, & tender and delicious beef and pollo tacos.
Tips: Many of our vendors are cash free and use Venmo, CashApp, Square or PayPal. Download your apps before arriving for a smooth experience or bring cash.
