Aurelius Christian who is running for an At-Large seat on the Lansing City Council, will holding a fundraiser on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Arctic Corner ice cream shop in Lansing’s Old Town District. Hosted by Sein Paul Benavides who owns the Arctic Corner, the fundraiser will take place between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. With any donation to the Aurelius campaign, supporters will receive a small sundae.
Aurelius, who works for the Lansing Economic Development Corporation as a Development Programs Coordinator, is vying for one of two open seats on the Council. There are eleven candidates for the two seats in the August primary with the top four vote getters moving onto the November 4th election.
Having spent time with the Ingham County Health Board and also a current Board member with the Allen Neighborhood Center, Aurelius brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. The top two vote getters will serve a four year term beginning January 1, 2026, until December 31, 2029.
