For those Latino families who have students in the Lansing School District (LSD) the Latino Advisory Committee invites you to join us as we introduce our Committee and some of the many resources that the LSD provides. This night will be the second Family Night and is geared towards the 9th to 12th grade students throughout the LSD.
Join us and learn about programs for LSD students including those programs that are specific to the Latino community. Dinner will be provided. This one will be followed up by a Latino Family Night at Eastern High School in early January 2020.
The Latino Advisory Committee was created in April of 1972 to recognize, educate, and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children. We work in partnership with the Lansing School District to advocate for Latino families and their students throughout the calendar year.
