Friday, February 13, 2026 – Cristo Rey Church Fish Fry celebrates 40 years this year. Long known as one of the best Fish Fry’s around, the Knights of Columbus prepare dinner for everyone from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Every Friday with the one on Friday, March 27, 2026, dinner will be served. March 2026 – Latin American Golf League Meeting – To be announced. Season runs from early April to Mid-October. 2-player teams compete every other week at Prairie Creek Golf Course located at 800 E. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – Latino Business Conexión of Michigan will hold their first mixer of the year from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The venue will be Taqueria El Chaparrito which is located at 4832 W. Thursday, March 26, 2026 – 16th Annual Cesar E. Chavez – Dolores Huerta Celebration (CCDHC) – Location – Kellogg Center on the Campus of Michigan State University. 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Celebrating farmworkers through conversation, food dance. More details to come.
Tuesday, March 31, 2026 – Cesar E. Chavez 17th Annual Memorial Celebration. From 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The Tony Benavides City Council Chambers which is located on the 10th Floor of City Hall at 124 W. Michigan Ave. Sponsored by the Lansing City Council and LLEAD of Greater Lansing. A reception will follow.
Wednesday, April 1, 2026 (tentative) – Lansing Community College Cesar E. Chavez Day Celebration 12:30pm – 2:00pm. An afternoon of celebrating Cesar E. Chavez and his legacy through an engaging call to action, performances food and more. This will be at the Cesar Chavez Learning Center which is located in the Arts & Sciences Building 1313 at LCC. Friday, April 3, 2026 – 43rd Annual Via Crucis/Stations of the Cross. The Via Crucis refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers.
