The Latino Business Conexión of Michigan held their first mixer last night at Urban Beat in Lansing’s Old Town District. About 140 people enjoyed light food, drinks and most importantly, access to Latino business owners, professionals and community members.
Co-Chairs Adriana Lopez-Ellis and Elena Herrera along with Marketing Director Pedro Gonzalez have taken the lead in this new business organization and were the main architects behind both the Latino Business Expo (held in October) and last night’s Mixer.
The Latino Business Conexion will be advised by John J. Castillo, Linda Sanchez-Gazella, Al Salas and Sein Paul Benavides. All are former leaders of past business groups in Lansing. We believe that utilizing an older experienced generation with a younger and tech savvy generation will lead to not only a successful organization but one that looks a lot different than most business associations.
In the Mid-Michigan area, there is a need for representation, education, and communication and we the people behind the Latino Business Conexión are not only ready but excited about what 2024 is going to bring the Latino community!
Much thanks to the community at large for believing in a younger generation to lead the way! For more information, please contact us through this page and check back as we will release our 2024 schedule today.
